I needed to a hot water heater replaced. The old heater gave out before a week end, so I had to wait 4 days befor I had a new tan. The contractor came when he said he would experiencing no problems. He was polite and left my garage clean.
Was having problems with our washing machine. Called that day and the customer service person sounded very concerned and said she would have someone call me first thing in the morning. Next day a contractor called me in the morning to set up a time to come over to see what was going on with my washing machine. He came over found out what was wrong and had the part in his truck and fix it and while he was fixing it, he noticed the my hot water and cold water hoses where back wards. He put them the right way and cleaned up.I was very happy with my experience American home shield! !!
I initiated my service request via the AHS web page. I received verification by e-mail of the contractor's name and contact info. The service time was confirmed and the contractor arrived within that time frame. He was courteous, clean and competent. My repair was completed in a timely manner to my satisfaction.I'm very pleased with my experience with American Home Shield.
We had an electrical issue. We received an appointment right away and it was an easy fix. We did not know how easy the fix was but we do know what we need to do. The gentleman was very knowledgeable and explained everything to us. The service was great and all done in a timely manner. Very happy with everything as always.
I have used my AHS warranty several times with great results. My ceiling fan was replaced; a new water heater was installed (I paid partial costs); there were 2 service calls on my washer/dryer unit; a new toilet was installed and possibly other calls not in my memory. I have been very happy with the AHS staff assistance and the contractors involved in the service visits. No homeowner should be without a home warranty program. It pays for itself quickly.
The contractor showed up on time on the scheduled day (wished it could have been a couple of days sooner). Very quick to fix the problem. Experience with customer service has been great. The repairman was clean and respectful. I have had two different service problems this year and each has been handled very professional.
My recent service was for my garage door. As always the phone representative was very courteous however it took almost a week before I heard from the repair service, as I finally called the number given to me by your representative. Apparently the fax got lost but the repair service did come out promptly after my call. The service men were very clean looking and investigated the problem but advised that the broken spring on my garage door was not covered by my warranty. I told them to do the repair and I paid for the service when the repair was completed.
American Home Shield's designated contractor pursued the issue from initial call through completion of repair, and in a couple of cases, complete replacement. Once I put it in the hands of AHS, I could release all concerns about the repair, because I knew the Contractor was working the issue through the AHS process on my behalf. That freed me to go about my work and my life, rather than tracking down repair people or shopping for replacement parts. The warranty gives me complete peace of mind that I will not have major repair or replacement expenses each year.
I have always had good service from AHS. The last service request was 2 weeks ago. I am impressed and grateful that the contractors AHS uses are very prompt. / I have 2 AHS policies, one which is on my rental home in Oklahoma. AHS has always taken care of whatever repair I have needed there. I have been thrilled with the replacement service also when it was required. I do recommend AHS to everyone I know.
I came home from Christmas vacation to find that our sink had a leak in the pipe and had created a nice puddle in the cabinet ruining quite a few toiletries. I called AHS immediately to get set up with a plumber in my area to fix the problem. He was there within two days and fixed the problem within 45 minutes. The response was quick, the plumber was professional, the problem was fixed and here 4 months later still no leakage.
The company that was originally sent stated the job was done; however the problem recurred and I contacted the electric company. They immediatly knew the problem, checked it to confirm and then wrote it out in detail. I contacted AHS and the original company returned and, this time, correctly replaced the faulty item and checked the system. I was not charged for a second visit and their response was the next day. I have always liked AHS and encourage others to join. Yes, it was a bit of an inconvenience, but things happen in life and we have to put our problems in perspective.
I've had two service calls to my house. The most recent of which the contractor came to look at my refrigerator. He was quick to diagnose problems, but would have to order parts and come back. Previously, I had a contractor look at our heat pump. They were very thorough in their inspection, paid attention to their cleanliness and fixed all problems quickly.
My service request was answered very quickly. The HVAC technician that called me said he wouldn't be able to get to my house until Monday/Tuesday (this was on a Friday morning around 7:00am. He called me back 45 minutes later and said he could swing by quick if I was going to be around for the next hour. All said and done, my furnace was back up and running within two hours of me placing the service request!
Quick, detailed and accurate response to service request. I had an email response with designated contractor within seconds of placing request. Then the contractor contacted me within 24 hours to se up an appointment.
home shields have always responded to my request at my Lawton ok resident in a timely manner. all repairs and replacement item was also completed on time in a professional matter. outstanding job.
The plumber who came to my house took care to not mess up my house and very professionally handled my problem. I was especially pleased with the way he actually listened to what I had to say about previous similar events that needed a plumber's attention.
The contractor was professional, on-time, and completed the replacement in record time. I would highly recommend this contractor. The downside was the activity should have been performed on a weekend, but couldn't be scheduled until the first business day. Not sure where that responsibility lies.
The represetative AHS sent to fix my broken garbage disposal was excellent. He showed up at the appointed time fixed the problem, cleaned up and departed.
Our heater went out just as the weather turned cold. My wife and I are elderly disabled and on a fixed income. American Home Shield sent. Repair man to the house and we had heat again. Then they made sure we were satisfied and hD no more issues. This was the most satisfying repair call I have ever had.
They were very professional and friendly. Offered maintenance suggestions that was very helpful
