I received the best turn around with this company as far as getting me my products in a timely manner. The sales associate I had was very knowedgeable with the purcesures .
I encountered a problem with my wall furnace's fan not coming on. I entered the order on the AHS website and within 30 minutes I was contacted by a local AC and Heating company to schedule a technician to come to my home. Two days later the technician came and resolved the problem.
My experience with AHS , has been a life saver, they have provided me with excellent service and I would give them a 10 +, based on service, customer service , , working with clients to resolve problems, contractor referrals and promptness of contractors.
My last experience was with a plumbing contractor. We had a water leak in the main line coming into my home just outside the slab. I wasn't overjoyed about the situation in that it was for my account but the contractor did all he possibly to keep my costs down and complete the job.
The last service call that we had was for a non working porch light. The contractor contacted us and came out in a very reasonable time frame. He was polite, pleasant and very professional. We have had several call outs with AHS and we have always been pleased with the service, the contractors and all of the customer service we've received.
The service agent I spoke with was knowledgeable, helpful and efficient. The contractor was timely, professional and fixed the problem quickly. The cost of the service call was reasonable compared to engaging a plumber on an hourly basis.
I recently had a problem with my washing machine (it was leaking water). I call AHS and was scheduled an appointment with a local contractor. The contractor called, set up the appointment and arrived on schedule for the appoint. He proceeded to test the washing machine, and then after opening the appliance determined that a new hose was needed. He didn't have the hose on the truck with him but was able to order it. He initially stated it would take a week to get the part (it was being mailed to my address) and that when it came in, just give him a call back and someone would come in and install. The part arrive a few days early, I called the technician, he came out and installed it in less than 15 minutes. I was so grateful for the service.
Service technician from Leezer Mechanical was knowledgeable, courteous and clean. The problem was diagnosed and repaired promptly. I was pleased.
We are quite pleased with the service we have received from AHS. The responses have been timely, the contractors knowledgeable and courteous. We are glad we purchased the AHS warranty!
I called the toll free number at 6:00am. The HVAC repair was noted. At 7:15am the contractor called and the company was out at 1:00pm. Customer service was great and the HVAC company was prompt, courteous and very professional.

The contractor arrived at the appointed time, saw what the problem was, diagnosed it and repaired. The problem while keeping us informed the whole time.
My best recollection of recent was with Big D Electric where I have ground fault switches that for some reason pop off frequently and cause electric power to cease to my bathrooms and outside electric plugs. He explained to me that the ground fault switches are very sensitive to water and that when it rains, or when I run my sprinkler system, the switch will trip, just because they are so sensitive. For this reason, even though he replaced with faulty plug, he said this might not fix the problem. This knowledge has saved me a lot of money, because he was right about the rain, and the sprinkler system. I have had a lot of occasions since the switch replacement, when I have been without power, but once a little time goes by, all is back on. His frank information saved me a lot of calls for repair. Based on my experience, American Home shield is a company that is well organized that provides a great service for their customers. Additionally, their employee's, from my experience appears to be highly skilled technicians. Their response time from submiting a request order has been superb.
The last time we used it was for our air conditioning and the service was great and the technician was very knowledgeable and polite. They did everything in a timely manner and cleaned up after themselves.
