If there is a covered problem, make sure to contact AHS first. Our experience has been that the contractors were prompt and competent. Can't get much better than that.

The heat went out and repairs man came out very quickly. Needed to get a part showed me how to get the most out of what heat I had. Called when the part was available and fixed it.

Working with American Home Shield and their contractors has been a very positive experience. From the initial contact with American Home Shield to the contractor providing the service the experience with them and the timeliness of their efforts was commendable. Our problem was resolved quickly. This has been my third experience and I would highly recommend American Home Shield and their team of contractors to take care of my home maintenance needs. I am very suspect and cautious of warranties in general but I make the exception with American Home shield.

Our kitchen sink completely clogged up after a Saturday night party...we called American Home Shield on Sunday evening to try and schedule a Monday service call... we didn't realize they were there 7 days a week .. we scheduled a service call on Monday and were so very pleased with the work .. the sink is perfect!

The service was quick. The repairmen were friendly and tidied up after themselves. They were able to complete the job in a day. They did their best to put the trim from the attic opening back as close to the way they found it. I am at a loss for the company name at the moment, but would be happy to use them again.

the resolution was immediately addressed and resolved by the contractor semt bu AHS. The contractor did however make errors that took months to resolve. I have not previously reported this to AHS but would be willing to answer any question that AHS may have regarding this matter.

Our gas range wasn't working correctly. When the oven was turned on, we could smell gas. We called American Home Shield and a repairman was scheduled to check the range. The repairman called and scheduled an appointment. He arrived on time, checked the range, and found the problem-a part wasn't working correctly and was leaking gas. He used the part number but the part was no longer available. He explained the problem to AHS, which had a new range delivered to our home at no cost to us. AHS replaced the gas leaking range, which could have blown up, damaged the kitchen, and killed us.

Knowledgeable about problems and resolutions. able to share in terms that are easily understood what the problem and options to correct the problems. Then proceeds to make needed repairs. Technicians are clean cut, take the time to make sure they are not tracking dirt into the house and leave work area very clean when job is completed

The last time I needed to use American home shield response time was wonderful. I woke up to a kitchen filled with water. the hot water tank had broke and water was everywhere. I called American home shield to file a claim and with in 45 mins. the plummer was at my house working on the hot water tank. Within 2 hours the job was completed with a new hot water tank. Wonderful Job!

What I love most about AHS is the peace of mind. If something breaks, I call them and it gets fixed. That said, the customer service bar fluctuates wildly depending on the AHS customer service agent you work with and the contractor that is sent to do the actual work. In our most recent experience, the contractor was capable and resolved our issue, but did not deliver what I would consider stellar customer service - from the point of scheduling to the point of resolution.

I received prompt service from American Home Shield when I called for service to my air conditioning unit. I called to schedule the service and the representative was very helpful and routing me to a technician within an hour. The technician called me promptly to schedule time to come out to my house. Company was very reputable and did a great job diagnosing the problem and doing the repair the same day.

I am very pleased with my recent experience with American Home Shield. The service technician was very prompt and Knowledgeable. A part needed to be ordered to repair our air conditioning and a second service call was required. The time to get the part was reasonable and the second call did not include an additional service fee. The service technician was very well organized and completed the repair quickly and efficiently.

My last service call was for my A/C. The company sent by AMS called soon after I submitted the work request on line. They arrived within the stated time and the technician was friendly and professional and, got my A/C up and running with no problems since.
