The experience was quick and easy. I filed a claim online and within a day I had a new garbage disposal equal to the one I originally had. The repair technician also was able to help me with a small water problem I was having. I was highly satisfied with this company.

He was an elderly gentleman, very professional and dedicated. Called back when the part came in and returned when it needed to be revised . Polite and old school knowledge and job ethics. He was the first one to take the call for a microwave repair and he got it done.

It has been awhile since we had to use American Home Shield, but I have to say they came through. We needed a plumber over the weekend and AHS came was able to get one to us.

The contractor was very quick to respond and fixed the problem on his first visit. He was very knowledgeable and professional. He kept in contact with me throughout the entire process. Very satisfied!

AHS quickly referred me to a repair company each time I called for service, and they contacted me quickly also. I was able to get service when I was available. I was pleased with the promptness. One service was not covered (leaking pipe outside the home), but another was (dryer that didn't dry). The service person was professional and fixed the problem.

My experience with AHS has always been above expectations. The contractors were knowledgeable about what they were doing, they were always on time, and I have always been satified with the services.

Water heater replacement. Water had leaked all over my basement floor. I called AHS service and they had someone call me immediately. This occurred on a Friday and someone was out very early Monday to take care of it. I thought maybe they would replace it with a cheap water heater and curious I googled one. My water heater replacement costs about $800 for the unit. Add on labor to install it would have been pricey. It costs me $60. I have used my plan before and as a single female I am thankful I have it.

There was that day when my hot water heater started leaking. I called AHS, got a work order and in just a couple of hours the company that was going to do the work called and set up an appointment for the next day. The next day right on time a worker showed up and drained and removed the old water heater, installed the new one and brought everything up to code. In just a matter of a few hours I had hot water. Service like that is rare these days.

I have used American Home Shield twice now. The first time for a leaky dishwasher and the last time for Freon in the air conditioner. The customer service was great on both ends, and very professional. The work was also done in a timely manner. You don't have to wonder what serviceman to call, it's taken care of for you.
