I attended the XHTML, HTML and CSS class in Dec. and this was the most enjoyable class I have taken so far. The instructor, Kevin Fowler, made the class fun and spent whatever amount of time it took to help each person who had questions or problems. I look forward to the Java class I will be attending in 2011.
I would highly recommend the classes at New Horizon. I took the intermediate class on Microsoft Excel 2007. As a heavy user of Excel I thought I knew what I was doing. This class showed me there was a lot more I didn't know than I thought. One shortcut I learned has saved me hours on the job. The trainer I had was knowledgeable and more importantly had real life experiences. The atmosphere was friendly, class rooms clean, and handout materials professionally done. I intend to attending the advanced Excel 2010 class in late spring.

I took an Access 2007 class at New Horizons and it was excellent. The teacher was clear with his explanations and was obviously very experienced with Access. I learned a lot and will be able to apply it to my work. I would recommend New Horizons to anyone who is thinking about taking any computer training courses.
I highly recommend the classes at New Horizon. I took classes on Microsoft Project 2007. I did the mentored learning first and then took the instructor led class. I would do this again and suggest others do it as well. Both methods have positive points. The facility is also amazing. Everyone I met was extreamly friendly and all efforts were made to meet every creature comfort I might have while on site.

I highly recommend. The instructor is very helpful. I think allowing students to come back for a 2nd time in 6 months time is very helpful. The only suggestion is that the instructor does move fast for those of us who are not very knowledgeable. There is a lot of information to take in. I do realize that he is trying to get a lot of information in a short amount of time. You might offer a class for those who are slow to catch on and not offer as much material in a day's time.
I am a member of the club at New Horizons and am finding that this type of environment is working for me. And the two classroom experiences I have had are so worthwhile. Everyone at the Knoxville office is so helpful and always available to answer my questions. I am extremely confident that when the time comes, I will be fully prepared to pass my exams and become certified as MOS.

I recently completed the class on Word 2007. The atmosphere of the class is wonderful and Matt was a great teacher. I highly recommend New Horizons for training and hope to take more classes with them in the future.
Classes at New Horizon are great and the staff is wonderful at making you welcome and meeting your needs. I've had several of the design classes and am amazed at how much is covered. Instructor-led classes, mentored learning and learning lab all help you learn.

Classrooms were clean, well lit, and comfortable. The computer equipment was up-to-date, with all the necessary software installed. The instructor was outstanding in that he was knowledgeable, insightful, and entertaining. I left this basic Crystal Reports training knowing that I could actually use the software, even though it was the first time I had seen it.
I highly recommend attending training classes at New Horizons. The classroom is very casual and you are not made to feel like you are a Bozo if you get lost or have to ask the instructor a question or for help. They are always willing to answer personalized questions and will take time outside of class to address issues you may have within your own realm of responsibility. I like that on both sides of the question. If you have the problem, you get the attention you deserve, and if the problem is someone else's, you don't feel like you are forced to be subjected to their situations being ironed out on every body else's class time. I have signed up for one of the club plans and feel I am more than getting my money's worth even with the fact that I live more than 60 miles from the facility. Everyone I have come in contact with is very professional, but also, extremely approachable and just plain nice. And, oh yes, the cookies are Great too.
I highly recommended! I recently took the Adobe CS4 INDesign course. Joanna our instructor was VERY knowledgeable and very willing to help with any and all questions. The course covered a lot of material and the second day was very challenging but with a good instructor which we had it moved along well. Yes, the class was very helpful! I am excited about putting into play some of the things I have learned. I would reccomend working around in it some before taking the class...it will help you understand the instructions better I think.
I recently attended a Certification Prep Seminar hosted by Jessee Wimberley. I don't believe anybody could have presented this type of seminar better than Jessee did. His experience and energy made my time "well spent".
I attended the seminar on Certification Examination Strategies April 30th, I left very impressed with Jesse's knowledge and passion for IT. Fantastic seminar and I can't wait to attend Jesse's next one

Highly Recommended. New Horizons of Knoxville provided me with excellent training. The instructors and staff are very knowledgeable and supportive.
Highly recommended! I recently took the SharePoint Power Users course. The instructor (Jesse) was VERY knowledgeable on the subject. The course covered a lot of material and I can see where most features could be utilzed in my workplace. I am looking forward to implementing a lot more of SharePoint's features in my workplace. I was already a user, but wanted to learn more. This course gave an overview from entry level through power user. I think there are more advanced features that are covered in another course, which I may attend at a later date. I think the Power Users course could be extended to four days to allow for more content and for more questions and scenarios to be fielded. All of the course material was covered, but it did not leave enough time to cover extended workplace scenarios. I recommend scenarios to work through in the classroom setting. EX: using class attendees as users and putting them into a shared site to test the features (i.e., permissions, etc.)

The course was Citrix Presentation Server 4.5 and XenApp 5.0: Administration running from 4/19/2010 to 4/23/2010. The instructor was prepared and knowledgeable. However, the course materials were substandard in my opinion. We received two large volumes that were not really followed in class. The volumes are not indexed and there is no way to look anything up in them. The course training material was not useful in class and will not be useful at work. The provided labs had many errors and the provided virtual machines had configuration problems which we spent a lot of time troubleshooting. The workstation hardware was of insufficient power to host the virtual machines required to adequately complete the required labs.

Great training. The instructor was very informative. I wish you all offered more than just computer learning. Maybe more hands-on job improvement classes for the business professional. The training I received will really help me in my job everyday.
I recently took the Excel 1 class it was EXILENT. I'LL BE BACK. HAHA. Never once got boring. The instructor was seasoned and over flowing with knowledge and I plan to take many more classes. THANKS E.T.
