I have taken several classes with New Horizons in Knoxville, and it is a terrific organization. Whether the class is self-paced mentored learning or a traditional class, they make it as easy as possible for you to really learn the material in a way that stays with you. I am extremely happy with my progress there, and plan to take more classes!

I recently took a SharePoint 2007 Site Owner and Power User course. The instructor and course material were excellent. Very much applied to actual work that I do with Sharepoint and very practical for me. It made a huge difference in my confidence level and will help me with my job as a Project Manager to be able to use Sharepoint to share information with the Teams.

I recently took a SharePoint Web Development class. It was excellent. I really learned alot about how SharePoint works and how I can modify my site to fit my business needs. Please note that this is a programming class. So read the prerequistes and course outline carefully.

Computer training at New Horizons is preparing me to re-enter the workforce after a twelve year absence. I would not be able to without this specialized training. The knowledge I have gained from this excellent program will be my ticket for employment.The mentored program along with class instructors removes any questions or fears on the ability to use computer program functions. I recently took the Excel 3 class and learned many things that I can use in my job. The instructor knew the material and translated it to us with ease. This is my second class with new horizons and am very pleased.

It was a perfect learning environment; the instructor was informal but knowledgeable, the classroom was clean and well-equipped, and the class was incredibly helpful. This is my second experience with New Horizons in Knoxville, and I have signed up for more classes with them. They are clearly good at what they do, and the skills I am learning there are definitely helping me find better employment. I can recommend them without reservation!

I have taken numerous classes at New Horizon and have been very pleased with both the instructers and the courses themselves. I highly recommend signing up for the club packages which makes more sense financially, and it allows you to retake classes as needed.

I have taken 2 classes at New Horizons and have enjoyed and learned a TON from both. I plan on taking 1 or 2 more. It is a friendly, welcoming environment with free cookies baked daily! But seriously, I have nothing but good things to say about the center.

New Horizons Knoxville is a great place to gain new knowledge. I am working toward certification in software development and database skills. I just finished an intro course in MS SQL. Alex, the instructor, is well-versed in database administration in addition to being an experienced trainer. He struck a good balance between depth of coverage on the important points and making sure he hit all the topics covered by the material.I know it may sound silly that people mention the fresh baked cookies provided every afternoon, but I think this is an important indicator of the level of attention NH provides to its clients. They make sure you get everything you want and need out of your training. Not only do they provide the material and instruction, but they go beyond that to provide an excellent customer experience. I have been there 5 days a week for most of the last 2 months and plan to be there a few more months as I develop the knowledge and skills I need for a new career.

I have taken several classes at Horizons and have always been impressed with the instructors, the staff and the facility. I do think that there is too much information presented in the time allotted and it has been my experience that by 3:00pm, most students seemed to lose interest. Perhaps the information could be spread over two shorter days.

It was a great experience ... the instructor was very knowledgeable. She gave great shortcuts and tips. I look forward to taking many more classes through New Horizons!

New Horizons gets a "WOW" factor! You are grated by a friendly, inviting face. The instructor was very knowledgeable in Excel. Each section in the workbook is well defined and easy to follow. The classroom was clean and neat. We had substantial breaks to refresh us for each new section. The afternoon break included fresh baked cookies. My instructor took the time after class to help me one-on-one in a part of Excel not covered in class. I left feeling energized and ready to tackle many new areas of Excel! When I received the notes from class via email, I was unable to open them on our system. Joanna went above and beyond getting them formatted so my system would accept the files. Thanks, New Horizons! I look forward to classes in the future.

The instructor was very informed and honest about the capabilities of the Sharepoint Designer program. I think they cover a bit too much material in the two days, and it should be designed towards a real world environment. Perhaps setting up a class as a company, with Administrators and end users trading off. Setting up and testing workflows and subscriptions and permissions would go a long way towards cementing the knowledge shared in the class. They can only do so much with the Microsoft format though.

I just took the Dreamweaver CS4 Level 1 & 2 and it was great. I learned more in a two day class than a eight week online course. The instructor was very knowledgeable and helpful. The class was hands on with the assignments. It was structured so that you had examples but could deviate to real world problems as needed. I felt I could come back and jump right in.

The XML Level 1 class that I recently took at New Horizons Computer Learning Center (NHCLC) was excellent. The instructor was very knowledgeable on the topic. NHCLC continues to maintain its place as the premier training company in the Knoxville area.

This is my second course taken at the Learning Center. Great facilities and professional instructors. The 2PM cookies are grrrrreat. I intend to take more classes. Compared to other training centers, Hew Horizons is a 12 out of 10. A great learning experience. Don't even look at others.

I recently attended the Access Level 1 instructor led class. The instructor was well knowledged in this field and offered excellent training. I have taken numerous classes through New Horizons and would highly recommend them to anyone just learning a program or brushing up on your current skills. They are current on the software that is available, such as Microsoft Office, so you can learn what's new.

I recently took the Access Level 1 class. This was my first time at New Horizons but I was pleasantly surprised by the pleasant surroundings and the enthusiasm of the instructor. It was a great experience. I hope to attend classes in the future.

I am currently taking COMPTIA A+ and will be taking COMPTIA Network + and I can honestly say it has been refreshing to the kind of attention you get while attending.They take special care of every question you have.The hospitality is wonderful,they greet you at the door.
