Friendly, thorough and knowlegable

I'm very particular which physicians I see. In a world filled with doctors claiming to be well versed in their field, I have been exposed to those who are not...and they don't stand behind their work. I feel completely confident under Dr. Shaheen's care. He's a true professional. He won't try to encourage me to do more than the minimum necessary to meet my needs. He's honest, caring and takes his time. I truly recommend him to anyone wanting excellent care without the worry.

Dr Shaheen does is not pushy with procedures or injectables and careful to not point out every flaw that could be corrected rather asks your opinions. Only then will he comment, suggest possible corrections.

I had a small lipoma (fatty cell) on the top of my forehead – probably had it for over a year. So I decided to get it removed.
Originally, I went to a dermatologist who said he’d be able to remove it for me. Spoke to my wife about it and she insisted I get it removed with a plastic surgeon and not a dermatologist, since it’s on my face.
A close friend of mine highly recommended I go see Dr. Kenneth Shaheen....he was a patient of his years ago and said he was amazing.

I scheduled an appointment and saw him last month.
The entire staff was extremely friendly and professional. Dr. Shaheen explained what I had (same explanation as the dermatologist – so that made me feel good) and then explained the surgical treatment.
I felt very comfortable speaking with him. He was kind and informative.

The surgery was done last week at Beaumont Hospital (out-patient). It’s been a week since my procedure and I went to see Dr. Shaheen for my post-op. The healing is coming along well and the scarring is very minimal (just a small line).
I’d def recommend Dr. Shaheen – very good experience.
