Juan A. Ramos, MD, joined South Florida Orthopaedics & Sports Medicine in the summer of 2016. Dr. Ramos is board certified in both anesthesiology and pain medicine. He earned his medical degree from Universidad de Carabobo in Venezuela. Dr. Ramos completed his anesthesiology training at Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville, Florida, and pain medicine fellowship training at the University of Florida.

Dr. Ramos relieved back pain 7 months ago which enabled me to engage in activities without discomfort and immobilizing pain.
Dr. Ramos is a very friendly, knowledgeable and caring Pain Management physician. I've been seeing Dr. Ramos for over a year due to acouple rear ended car accidents. Thanks to him I am almost pain free and able to function. I was in bed for 20 days before I saw him for a neck crippling pain issue. Thank you Dr. Ramos. Oh, his staff are all wonderful.
While the treatment plan after affects were different from previous events, Dr. Ramos had prepared me for the possibility.
