Michael Tavill, MD, FACS received his undergraduatedegree in biology from Washington University, St. Louisin 1986. He then went on to Case Western ReserveUniversity Medical School, graduating in 1991. Hisachievements include an election to Alpha OmegaAlpha Medical Honor Society and the Memorial Awardin Otolaryngology. An Internship and Residencyin Otorhinolaryngology / Head and Neck Surgerywere completed at The Hospitals of The Universityof Pennsylvania in 1996 followed by a Fellowship inPediatric Otolaryngology at The Children's Hospital ofPhiladelphia in 1997.He is board-certified in Pediatric and AdultOtolaryngology and now serves as Chief of PediatricOtolaryngology at Monmouth Medical Center. He hasteaching responsibilities in the Departments of Pediatricsand Surgery along with an appointment as assistantclinical Professor at Drexel University Medical School. He also serves on theAmerican Academy of Otolaryngology Pediatric Clinical Advisory Committee.Dr. Tavill is a frequent speaker at both communityand medical meetings. He is a member of the AmericanAcademy of Otolaryngology, Society for Ear, Nose,and Throat Advances in Children, and a Fellow ofthe American College of Surgeons. Dr Tavill has beenrecognized for excellence in pediatric Otolaryngologyby NJ Top Docs (2006-2018) and NY Metro top doctors(2007-2018). He has also been singled out by US Newsand World Report as one America's Top Physicians.

Everything from beginning to end was wonderful. The nurses and Dr. Tavill take their time with you and discuss things thoroughly. They make sure both you and your child comfortable. My son's adenoid surgery was so successful. The surgery was short and easy. It was truly life-changing for our son. We would recommend Dr. Tavill to any parent with a child suffering from chronic sinusitis.
This was the most easy, stress free visit for myself and my 5 year old daughter. After not passing her hearing test for kindergarten, we were nervous about why this was the case and we are thankful for the streamline help at ENT & Allergy Associates for a quick diagnosis, and a care taken during our visit.

At 3:00, the day before Thanksgiving, we discovered my daughter shoved a gem in her nose. I called offices all over and no one would see her because they were leaving early for the holiday. I called this office and they rushed to help. They squeezed us in and my daughter was seen right away! They removed the object, and now thanks to them we did not spend countless hours at the ER the night before a holiday. We are so appreciative and would highly recommend their office !! All around great.

Dr. Tavill accurately diagnosed my daughter’s ear problem after the immediate care and her own pediatrician misdiagnosed it. Problem cleared up in a couple of days. He spent a lot of time with her on the first visit, super nice guy, friendly, professional, put her at ease. So glad we found him.
He explained the procedure and addressed all of our questions making sure we were at ease,
Dr. Tavill removed my daughter’s tonsils. He throughly explained the process to prepare us. Everything went well. He also has a great way of making children feel comfortable.
