- Craig A. Horton, DMD, MS, is a specialist in implant, esthetic and reconstructive dentistry. Dr. Horton received specialty training in Prosthodontics at the University of Florida. He is a native of Oconee County and is excited to provide superior service to his customers in his new state-of-the-art facility. Dr. Horton is dedicated to provide quality dental care at the highest standard of technical excellence. He treats each patient from a comprehensive approach and serves as a leader of a collaborative team involving general dentists, dental specialists, and lab technicians, to offer his expertise in the specialty of Prosthodontics, including Implant, Esthetic, and Reconstructive Dentistry. Dr. Horton has a broad knowledge of dental materials including the latest technology in dental ceramics. We provide services including all aspects of fixed, removable, and implant prosthodontics in order to enhance our patients smiles and correct functional deficiencies. General Services Porcelain / Composite Veneers Crowns Bridges Tooth-colored Restorations Complete / Partial Dentures Tooth Whitening Teeth Cleaning Complex Oral Rehabilitation (full mouth reconstruction) Patients with severe functional deficits resulting from trauma, cancer, surgery, or developmental defects such as a cleft palate or other craniofacial anomalies require treatment that deals not only with the current problem, but looks ahead to the future to avoid compromises in appearance, as well as function (including speech, swallowing, and chewing). Prosthodontists are trained to manage and appropriately stage the treatment needs of such patients. When the rehabilitation is completed the patient returns to the referring general practitioner for continued maintenance and further dental care. Dr. Horton would like to continue to follow his patients on a yearly basis after the completion of a complex rehabilitation.
