Dr. Friedman and Dave spent a great amount of time explaining all of my options and helping me select the best one for me. The entire staff was very friendly and helpful. Very impressed with the quality of service and pleased with the entire experience. This was my second treatment but first with Dr. Friedman and the entire experience was much easier this time.

Dr. Ramona Kelemen was the doctor who performed the beard transplant for me. I am extremely satisfied with the whole procedure. The office staff working at the Scottsdale Institute were very professional. Thanks to Dave, the hair consultant, and Leslie, the receptionist--they did an excellent job answering my questions. In the end, I decided to go with the FUE method for the beard transplant. Dr. Kelemen and her team made me feel comfortable as they drew out the beard outline. The FUE process was probably the least comfortable of the day, but definitely far from painful. I was provided a lunch, then again a little bit of discomfort with the anesthetic going into my face. After I was nice and numb, Dr. Kelemen started the incisions where the grafts would go. The grafting processing was painless and quite relaxing (I fell asleep for almost the entire time). I am extremely happy with my beard transplant and highly recommend Dr. Ramon Kelemen.

This is my second hair restoration surgery that I have received. The first one I got was from Bosley, which was fine but if I had to compare the two I like Dr Friedman a lot more. It seemed like I was dealing more with a veteran and highly experience doctor that just knew better ways to make the surgery and experience better. Also my scar from my first one in the back of my head seems larger than what I was told. Just with what I am doing to help my scar to heal and heal smaller with the experience Dr Friedman shared feels like this second scar isn’t going to be as large as my first one. I would recommend Dr Friedman to anybody looking for a hair restoration surgery.

My experience with Dr. Friedman was extremely positive and very successful. He explainer each step very carefully and waited until I understood what to do and what Not to do. I was given a long list of Pre-surgical instructions that included no strenuous exercise and no blood thinner medicines or blood thinning foods. The day of surgery he repeated the procedure and what to expect. He constantly asked me for the result I wanted. Where did I want more hair. What was most important to me! He is a very good listener and a gifted surgeon. Hair restoration is ALL he does and does it to perfection.

From the initial call to the post surgery visit, everyone was very knowledgeable and nice in making sure i felt comfortable the entire way.

One thing i would maybe suggest is to call patience a day or two prior to their surgery and explain any information pertaining to the surgery. For instance i had forgotten if i was supposed to fast or not the day of the surgery and i didnt't receive any explaining that.

I feel that this practice is clean, organized, professional & personable. All employees were professional.
