General Info
Richard J. Lee, M.D., was born and raised in Detroit, Michigan. He attended the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor and earned his bachelor’s of science degree in Chemical Engineering. Dr. Lee worked in the field of real estate investment and finance for nearly six years before resuming his path to medical school. He received his master’s degree and medical degree at Boston University School of Medicine. Dr. Lee completed his transitional intern year and his radiation oncology residency at the Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville, Florida where he served as Chief Resident in his final year. He is published in peer-reviewed journals on topics including head and neck, breast and prostate cancer. Dr. Lee joined Central Florida Cancer Care Center in 2014 and is excited to be serving central Florida. He is board certified in Radiation Oncology and he is a member of the American Society for Radiation Oncology, the American College of Radiation Oncology and the Association of Independent Doctors.

Dr Lee is a very caring physician. I believe he help saved by life along with my oncologist for chemo. I had small cell lung cancer, that was 6 years ago. I’m very believed to have him for my doctor. He is an outstanding physician and person.
He explain all the aspects of the medical issue based on his great experience and knowledge. He even went out of his way advising me on my condition outside his treatment of my prostate cancer.
I’m very satisfued. Also he has wonderful team who are very helpful and happy lifting patient spirit up.

I had small cell lung cancer and have been cancer free for 5 years. I only see Dr. Lee once a year now. He is still one of my favorite doctors. I would recommend him to anyone I know. He is an amazing physician.
his service was excellent more than willing to lessen and answer questions. and the other personnel him were some of the best. they do need to get a more comfortable bed for treatment.all the staff were excellent.
