Salem High School is a four-year secondary school offering educational instruction to students in grades nine through 12. The school has an enrollment of more than 1,200 students and is a part of the Salem City Public Schools. It offers an international baccalaureate program in English language; French, German, Spanish and Latin; history of Europe; biology and chemistry; math analysis and calculus; computer science; art and design; theatre arts and music; and business and management. The school provides a range of extracurricular activities, such as audiovisual and business clubs, Career and Technical Honor Society, chess club, literary art magazine, environmental club, French Honor Society and interact club. It has athletic teams for several sports, including basketball, baseball, cheerleading, soccer, softball, swimming, tennis, track, volleyball and wrestling. Salem High School is located in Salem, Va.
