Andrew Lewis Middle School is a public school serving students in grades six through eight. The school has an enrollment of more than 900 students and is a part of the Salem City Public School District. It offers classes in desktop publishing, English, math, health and physical education, science, social studies and world geography. The school has athletic teams in various sports, including basketball, cheerleading, football, soccer, track and field, volleyball and wrestling. It serves nutritious lunch to students and transportation services. It also provides classroom guidance counseling and a variety of orientation activities.
