The home page of your web site is very important. This page will be the one that helps you make the sell! The home page should have 300 to 400 words of content, this is what the search engines search for. Having gaudy graphics, animation's, and multimedia presentations inside your web design is not going to help you make it to the top of the search list. In the main content on your home page needs to be some key words about what you are offering. A good rule is about 4% of your main content should repeat the keyword. The key word we are using today is Web Design. The main reason for this content is to push our site for web design to the top of the search engines listing. The next step is to create a number of key words for your site which will be place within the header of your site. Then we will create some meta tags, you will not see the key words or meta tags within your Web Design, they will be placed inside of your html codes for your site.
