Aquebogue Elementary School is located in Riverhead, N.Y., and is a part of the Riverhead Central School District. The school enrolls more than 450 students in kindergarten through grade four. Its staff is comprised of speech therapists, psychologists, social workers, and occupational and physical therapists. Aquebogue Elementary School conducts weekly art, music, physical education, computer and library classes. It also organizes field trips to New York s American Museum of Natural History and the Statue of Liberty Circle Line, as well as various local cultural sites and outdoor education venues. Each of its classrooms is equipped with computers and other multimedia materials. In addition, the school organizes a variety of events, such as craft and book fairs, seasonal concerts and field days. Aquebogue Elementary School has a parent-teacher organization.
