Travis Whitney, NMD, MSc is a board-certified Naturopathic Medical Doctor and Chinese Medicine practitioner practicing in the Phoenix/Paradise Valley/Scottsdale area. Dr. Whitney graduated from the National University of Natural Medicine (NUNM) in Portland, Oregon with a Doctorate in Naturopathic Medicine and a Master of Science in Integrative Medicine Research. Dr. Whitney has practiced regenerative medicine for the past five years in the form of dextrose prolotherapy, platelet-rich plasma (PRP), stem cells, and bio-identical hormone replacement therapy. His other areas of focus for healing are primary care, pain management, stress/anxiety/depression, acute and chronic disease, SIBO, diabetes, weight management, heart disease, and physical/sports medicine. Dr. Whitney's clinical research thesis was done on the effects of meditation on neuroplasticity, a clinical trial on the effects meditation has on neuroplasticity, the brain's ability to 're-wire' itself and grow new brain cell connections. He's also written on topics such as obesity and insulin resistance in third-world countries, the effects of cortisol on brain function, as well as other health-related topics. At NUNM Dr. Whitney was trained as a primary care physician and medical researcher, learning several modalities, such as clinical nutrition, botanical medicine, homeopathy, and pharmaceuticals, for multiple conditions. Dr. Whitney did his Chinese medicine training at the Phoenix Institute for Herbal Medicine and Acupuncture (PIHMA) and was trained in prolotherapy through the American Osteopathic Association Prolotherapy and Regenerative Medicine, and under Dr. David Milroy, a practitioner of prolotherapy for over 15 years. Loving activity and nature, Dr. Whitney has spent years in a variety of sports and fitness programs. These include bodybuilding, powerlifting, tai chi, boxing, MMA, volleyball, yoga and many more.

wonderful staff and amazing treatment process
I saw Dr. Whitney to discuss future stem cell therapy treatment. He listened to my entire tirade of symptoms I hoped could be treated, and then offered compassionate solid advice. I felt a lot of trust in Dr. Whitneys knowledge and concern. I would recommend him.
