I attended the open house. I had a great time. I met all the upcoming teachers for the 2012 school year. Each teacher introduced themselves and stated what age group they work with along with why they enjoyed working for Academy of North Palm Beach. I saw the fun they shared with the game we played and the enjoyment the teachers shared when introducing themselves. This school is amazing. The classrooms are so pretty and inviting along with the play areas. We trust Miss April and the team of teachers.

This school deserves a 5 plus rating. I attended the open house and had a great opportunity to see what the school is all about. My sister has a daughter that just graduated this year after atttending the school for the last 3 years. I looked at 4 other schools that were closer to my husband's work. Academy of North Palm Beach is further yet my husband and I agree with my sister that this school is the best for our child. The open house is what made help to make a final choice. We look forward to our son's first day!

My wife and I agree with the last post. You have to get involved. The first thing we did as parents was to get involved. We also have a teenager in high school. We pride his well doing because he is encouraged to get involved. You can stand back and point fingers or invite getting involved! If you are involved you would not have to doubt your children's schools. We have a responsibility to our preschooler and teenager to be involved in their education! Our teenager had some problems with his algerbra teacher last school year. Because we were involved we were able to find a solution with the school. We feel the same about our preschooler. If we had a problem.

I agree. Get involved! My husband often has more time than me. He often comes at different times to view the camera of our son's classroom in the afternoon. Our son is doing well. I come early to view the cameras after I drop off for about 5 to 10 minutes. On Mondays my son cries when I say goodbye...he is okay within a minute. after I leave the room as I stop to see him in the cameras. This school is awesome!

I am an african american single mom. I picked this school because of the diversity and high standards. At times it is hard to get my children to school by 9:30 am. Yet I respect the rules. I have enjoyed helping out in my children's classrooms. Academy of NPB is great. I read the last post and wonder why this family has not helped out! If they did I am sure they would feel differently. Academy of NPB is a great school. I as a mom take any poor review as an insult! Spend time at the school! Seeing the cameras in the office is great but ask to volunteer! I have never been turned down. GET INVOLVED!

My wife and I took our children to Sea World for 2 days. We planned this vacation in advance and spent a great amount of money. Our children woke up each day and asked if we were going home. They missed their friends at summer camp. We picked Academy of North Palm last minute as we were torn between 3 other summer camp programs. There was only 5 spots left at Academy of North Palm. We are so glad we did so. Our children are having a great time. Next summer we will save on money and have them attend all summer!

I loved the graduation video. I feel guilty for not being able to volunteer as much after hearing the Dad's speech and his experience at the school. I will for sure do so more with my son that is now in the three year old class. This school is so amazing.

Thank you Mrs. April for all you do! I saw the graduation video playing in the office. I stayed to watch it and was late to work. I do not see you as often as I drop off early and pick up late these days because of my work schedule. I am so blessed to have found this school. Your high standards are tough sometimes. I would not expect anything less even though I am one of the parents that is begging to get in the door at 9:35! LOL You taught me to be on time out of respect for my son and his education. Kindergarten this year will be less forgiving! Love you!

My child is in the summer camp. He loves going on the field trips and all the new friends he has made.

So happy I found this school! I was so worried as I had a nanny set up for the summer to take care of my children and had planned for her to take them out to local events and activities. She gave me two days notice that she was moving. I felt so guilty as for the first week I brought my children to work. They were not happy. My husband and I do well but yet are not in the position to take off time for the summer outside of mini weekend travels. Miss April was a blessing! The school is awesome and way under priced I have to say! Miss April has a good heart. My husband and I add $25.00 to the tuition just to show our appreciation towards the amazing school we find as a blessing!!!

Our son has been with the Academy for one year in the VPK Class. The graduation was very nice. Our son has been out of school for one week and all he talks about is going to school. He was so hard to wake up during the school year! Now all he wants is to go see Miss O'Gradie, Miss April, Miss Monica and his friends. We signed him up for summer camp .

The graduation was so beautiful. Our daughter has been with Ms. April for three years. It is very hard to say goodbye. Our daughter was accepted into a private school. We are so happy. Her score on the entry exam was above average. We will forever hold in our hearts Ms April/Academy of NPB.

We have been with the Academy for one year for VPK. Our son graduated on june 1st. The ceremony was so nice. We were in awe as everything looked so beautiful. My husband and I were taken by the speech given by one of our son's classmates father. He hit it right on...Education is crucial but the foundation of love and great friends, teachers and Director who cared was priority. My husband and I have decided on a private school for our son. We do not want to lose the extra care or family environment our son grew to know at the Academy that helped him develop above and beyond our expectations. We will miss the school that always felt like home to our son and us. We will be back for after care!

Our daughter graduated on 6/1/12 from the Academy. The ceremony was wonderful. My husband and I along with our guests were so impressed by the entire event. The speech given by the father touched us all. Thanks Mrs. April and staff.

Our son just finished his second week. He cried the first few days and from there on woke up happy to go to school. This is his third school. He is so young! The previous two schools expected him to behave and just do the right thing immediately. He is not that kind of child. It takes time for our son to warm up. He is doing so well now thanks to Mrs. April and her school staff. They go the extra mile.

I am a new parent to the school. I attended my first event for the mother's day brunch. I have to say I cried. I saw my daughter come through the door holding her gift for me that she made. I was in awe. It was such a wonderful experience. I sat at a table with very warm and welcoming mothers. I had a great time. I posted the pictures all over my facebook. Friends were very impressed by the school as I had so many people asking the name of the school! Mrs. April you have many of my friends asking about your school. :)

I am a new teacher. I have been in the field of early childhood for many years. I never felt like I was at home working for other schools as I do now. This school is a blessing. The director is strict but also very kind. Mrs April is an owner/director that I enjoy working for. At my last school we rarely had direction or visits from the director. We were just required to smile and tell the owner/director/parents that it was a super day. I believe I have found a home in this school. It is very true and real behind the scenes.

Our son is doing well. We are recently divorced parents. We were worried about how our son would do as he has not been in school for over 6 months. He walked in every day with a smile and gave us a wave goodbye. He wakes up wanting to go to school at my husband's house and mine. We are so pleased. Mrs. April assured us during our tour he would do well and the staff would be warm and inviting. Thanx!

I have two children that attend Academy of North Palm Beach. My husband and I are very happy with the school. We are very comfortable with the staff and Mrs April. My husband and I both are aware of the Mother mentioned in the last review. My husband and I take turns dropping off and picking up based on our work schedules. We both heard this parent talking so rude to Miss Elizabeth. I also over heard her talking in passing to sign my children out the mom talking with another family about Mrs. April. This school is a blessing to my husband and I as are children are loved and educated. We too agree with the previous comment: Be a better person and just take your child out. Our children love the school along with the two other families we brought to the school.
