I went into Dr. Kaplan's office with the worst infection of my life, I was in so much pain that I was almost delirious. He had me quickly settled, numbed, using the particular type of novocain that I have to have. His work was meticulous, he answered all of my questions before, during and after and he was very careful to check in with me all during the procedure and adjusted if there was too much pain. He has a confident, steady touch and the vibe is relaxed. He plays music-checked in w me first tho-which also helped distract me from the procedure, and he and his assistant have a good repartee. I highly recommend Dr. Kaplan.

I decided to write this review to warn other people who are planning to visit Dr. Kaplan Steven. I made an appointment with a week in advance at 9 am. The time was very important for me so I arrive earlier at 8.50 to complite all necessary documents and be ready for 9.00. At 9.15 I found out from a doctor's receptionist that an appointment is at 9.30 not 9.00 as before. Being very disapointed I still decided to wait but even so doctor not arrived by 9.45. I left the office very disapointed and would not recommend Dr. Kaplan Steven anyone unless you do not mind to wait few hours. Very unprofessional service!!!!!

Kaplan is an excellent root canal specialist.I didn't even had an appointment but I had pain, he didn't hesitate to accomodate me, He was extremely thorough in his work and folow up with me how I was doing late at night and early in the morning the next day. If I have any questions I can always call him and as busy as he is he gets back to me.I give him 5 stars, Excellent

I've been having pain in my third molar months after a root canal job. Saw 2 dentist and underwent $2000 apicoectomy on the tooth without any success. Then I was referred to Dr. Kaplan who spend almost an hour testing me and listening to me, writing the symptoms down. He concluded I may have fourth nerve in the tooth that wasn't visible on xrays & removed - and he was right. He took away my pain. A real mastery!
