Always treated fairly & professionally. The "blonde" has a name - Kathy. Attitude is the key. If you walk in with a chip on your shoulder - she doesn't get paid to brighten your day... She is actually quite funny and has a great smile!

They advertise to do free small appraisals. Have seen some people ask them 20 different prices and then re-ask the same prices because they are too lazy to write it down. That is just plain rude on the customers part. Courtesy is a 2-way street.

If you don't like the prices they pay - you either have too high of an opinion of your coins or they are damaged. They pay the best price of anyone in this area! Sometimes double or triple what other dealers have offered. That guy up at the mall was arrested for stealing some old persons bearer bonds out of their house - cannot believe he is still not in jail.

They are one of the VERY few dealers who actually list in the papers the prices they pay. And if your coins are not damaged or slick they pay that price or more! VERY satisfied

I am a visiting Physician at Conemaugh and wanted to check out this shop, wow what a waste of time. Simply asked if they priced their Modern Commems off greysheet, as I was going to buy a few in cash then. Was tol to "Get out of the store I should know better than to ask a question like that". What a waste of time

I just called them and didn't want to make the drive unless they were interested in what I had for sale. The person on the phone wouldn't even let me tell him what I wanted to sell. Just said if I ever get in the area they would look at whatever I had. I was very disappointed because they have a great add, but like most companies the add was all they had. Customer Service was not in their vocabulary.
I have made many purchases from them via mail in the last 15 years, although I have never met them in person. I have found them to be fair and honest. Pricing and grading seems accurate. I almost always deal with Kathy on the phone and have never had a problem with her at all. I have probably purchased several hundred coins from them over the years and have only had to return a couple which I found unsatisfactory. These were promptly replaced with no issues. I have dealt with all of the major dealers and I find Sarosi to be among the best.

I purchased a number of type coins from them a few years back. I recently decided to get them all graded and sent them into PCGS. When the coins came back in slabs, not one of them graded out near what I had purchased them as. In fact, half of them were designated as "cleaned - not gradable". These were expensive coins and I am now out a lot of money.

A total rip off. They advertised prices they pay for coins and then they offered only 13% of the lowest advertised price! !! Rude and terrible. Zero stars. Go to rare collectibles in the Galleria! At least they are fair and helpful.
Just got back from one of their buying shows in Altoona, what a waste of my time. The blonde is extremely rude and abrasive. Also their ad in the Altoona Mirror was misleading. Do yourself a favor and find another coin dealer.

Scary rude is the experience I had with that blonde behind the counter. I never in my life went into a business and was treated so rudely by someone. I asked for an appraisal and she asked why I was wasting her time as she was busy. I thought she was joking but she was not. I said I wouldn't be back and she smiled and said "Cool".

Rude is the word... I called as well to ask a couple simple questions and I was looking forward to doing business with them, intending to buy coins totaling well over $10,000 depending on their availability. I deal with coin collectors/dealers all over the eastern seaboard. A few lack social skills and I wonder if it's just the trade at times, however this one took the cake for bad behavior. I thought about sending them a want list as they request in their ad, especially since it seems they have quite a variety of coins. However, I won't have anything to do with someone or a business that doesn't have manners. I appreciate every one else writing reviews on this business because until then I thought maybe she was having a bad day and I might give her a second chance. I guess this is just the norm for her and my decision is made. What a shame....

Rude. Hung up on me when I called with a question. Smart attitude when I came to store with coin to sell. I will not do business with them again.

RUDE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Sells overgraded and mis-represented coins via the mail. Takes the better quality to the coin shows for "in-person" sales. Do a google search, there are many links to terrible stories of the vulgarity and obnoxiousness these people show.
