Dr. John W. Clemenza is an Oral, Maxillofacial and Cosmetic Surgeon serving the Hermitage area for more than 15 years. Dr. Clemenza is experienced in Scar Revision, Facial Liposuction aDr. John Clemenza, born in 1966 in Scarsdale New York, is a son of a schoolteacher and small business owner. He attended IONA Preparatory High School located in Scarsdale, N.Y. where he was involved in sports including, football and tennis. He is the youngest of three children. Both of his older sisters practiced general dentistry in New York and Connecticut. In 1984, Dr. Clemenza moved to Pennsylvania to attend Washington and Jefferson College in Washington, PA. He received his Bachelor's degree in Biology, was a member of Phi Kappa Psi Fraternity, and played one year of college football. It was there he met his wife and they now have three children. After completing college one year early in 1987, Dr. Clemenza attended the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine until 1991 where he received his D.M.D. degree and Drexel Medical School where he received his M.D degree. He was accepted to a six-year Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Program at Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh, PA. This intensive program consisted of medical school, two years of general surgery training and Oral Maxillofacial Surgery training. In 1997, Dr. Clemenza was accepted as a Fellow in Head and Neck Oncology and Reconstructive Surgery at the University of Maryland in Baltimore, Maryland and at Walton Hospital in Liverpool, England. Dr. Clemenza and his family had the opportunity to live abroad while training in England and experienced not only a different lifestyle but also another type of health care system and Lip Augmentation. He is a professional member of the Pennsylvania Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgeons and the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons.

I have been a patient of Dr. Clemenza for both cosmetic services and medical/dental surgeries. In every case, I have been MORE than satisfied! He is gifted medical professional with a pleasant, kind personality and bedside manner. I appreciate that he is never too hurried to spend as much time as I need in asking questions - sometimes explaining things to me two or three times! So if you're considering dental implants or any dental surgeries- I highly recommend him. If you're considering a new skin care regiment or cosmetic services - I highly recommend him. If your teenager needs some extractions or skin care, I highly recommend him. I'm speaking from experiences and they have all been better than good - they've been great. We are blessed that Dr. Clemenza is in our area!

After knocking three of my teeth out during the final week of my college career, it was difficult to find oral surgeons who were both willing to work with my situation and clear in their planning for my recovery. During my first meeting with Dr. Clemenza a solid plan was laid out for me so that my teeth could be restored both efficiently and safely. I feel much better knowing that my recovery is being well planned so it is both convenient for me and efficient for healing.

I had my wisdom teeth removed by Dr. Clemenza. He and his staff prepared me and informed me on the whole procedure. Everything went very well. A few days after my procedure I was worried about the pain and they told me I could come in immediately. They gave me a check up and answered all of the questions and concerns I had. Overall my mouth healed well and they made the process as painless as possible.
I came to see Dr. Clemenza with severe wisdom teeth pain and they were able to fit me in the very next day! After my procedure I had little pain and was able to return to my daily activity shortly after.

My surgery was much better than expected! I was highly satisfied with how the day of surgery progressed and the care I received.
This was my first implant, and Dr. John made it painless. The recovery was the only real pain I felt, but with the Dr.'s explanation of what to expect during the post-op healing process, I was able to feel less pain within just a few days and never even had to fill my prescriptions....I simply took OTC Ibuprofen and that sufficed.
I have always felt comfortable and safe with Dr. Clemenza and the entire staff. Every visit is a great one!

Broken tooth pulled. Explained what was needed and was very professional. I was very impressed with the call the evening of the procedure by the doctor checking on my status. I will be calling to have a implant put in once my mouth heals.
Dr.Clemenza office made me feel comfortable from the very first phone call ! I have panic attacks going to the dentist more so to a oral surgeon . The office understood my fears and took excellant care of me ! Thanks to Dr. Clemenza whole staff i would recommend any of my family or friends to come here
