Long Distance Van Lines is a great company to work with. Their honesty is refreshing and the pricing is fair. They helped me move from MD to TX and I had them fully pack and ship my possessions. I gave them a bit of a hard time since I had to switch my pickup date three times, but they were very accommodating for which I am sincerely grateful. The team of guys showed up on time and did the packing and loading fairly easily, but more importantly they did a great job. The only thing I would point out is that you should allow up to a day to have your Emails responded to. Overall, I wouldn't hesitate to use them again and would highly recommend them.
I never rate anything (mostly because Im just too lazy), but they truly deserve a good review after the exceptional job they did. The Long Distance team was amazing from my first contact with their sales department, to my last conversation with their customer service team (for my follow up). The team of movers was polite and they knew what they were doing. I felt confident that everything would be delivered safely and it was. I would definitely recommend them to family and friends.
Highly recommend! They arrived at my house on time, worked really hard, and left the place clean when they where done. I was very concerned that it would be ridiculously expensive since I had so many items, but I felt that the price I paid was very fair. Im very happy with the quality of service and the personalized attention I received with Long Distance Van Lines. I was so nervous about moving, but having someone who is organized, knowledgeable, and trustworthy to move my home made a world of difference. Definitely go for the full packing service if you can. It made my move so much easier to have the movers pack everything for me, and the attention to detail that was given to each item was impeccable; even my fragile china made it without a nick. I would definitely recommend Long Distance Van Lines.
Ive had to move around a lot for my job and Long Distance Van Lines has the first competent staff Ive come across in over a decade. It wasn't cheap but at least the estimate they gave me was honest, unlike some moving companies who quote you one price but charge you double. The only thing I was unhappy with was that the movers showed up 30 minutes late, but they did finish everything on time and with extreme efficiency. Overall I think they did a marvelous job and I would definitely recommend them. Thank you Long Distance Van Lines for providing me with my first (almost) painless move!
After using Long Distance Van Lines, I just want to recommend them because this is the best moving company I have ever used. Their estimate was very precise, sales rep was very responsive and did a great job to schedule my move; foreman and his team gave their best and ensured the checklist is maintained properly and they were lightning fast. It was more than a delight using Long Distance Van Lines.
My wife and I moved from Connecticut to New Jersey with this company this summer. The movers worked pretty hard to pack carefully and safely everything from our four-bedroom home. Im glad I had them as my right hand during the packing because none of my belongings were damaged. In 11 days everything was relocated. The final price was awesomely low.
We had a great experience with Long Distance van lines. After a prompt visit at my home, Peter gave an estimate which was around half of the price than other movers offer. They tried to work within their mentioned timeline and they succeeded. I received a clear estimate from them, no surprise. They performed the entire move without hassle or any flaws. Most of us know about dos and dont of hiring a mover, but the best advice I would give everyone here and I think this might be an outstanding company to work with. Personally I would love to hire them again in my next relocation.
These Guys were marvelous. They worked straight through a long day with only ten minutes break for couple of times. Actually I cant compliment enough the crews who helped us move. I am grateful for their support. They were quite skilled to carry our stuff through a narrow and curved staircase. And I had no problem with the rate. It was absolutely reasonable. No hidden cost. We had some additional items at the last moment of move day. Their supervisor was extremely nice person. All their employees took the move very personally. Thereby there was no incident throughout the process. Thanks Long Distance Van Lines for giving us a great experience.
This is such a great company they definitely know what they are doing, I hired Long Distance van lines to do my move from NY to GA and it was a smooth as butter. I mean they really did everything they said that they would, I must say I was a skeptic until my move. A has an amazing team and they worked super hard and delivery was even better. 5 stars for you guys
The guys turned up right on time at 8am . It was a pretty hard move with alot of boxes and stairs at one end but they were friendly and efficient and worked hard all day until the job was finally done at 2.30. The two guys (Tom and Rob) were very experienced, and, most importantly, they were careful with our belongings and everything arrived at the destination undamaged. Thanks for your hard work fellas
I highly recommend them for any one working with a tight budget. The service and prices was within my budget .I was a little worried about hiring a moving company after hearing all the horror stories about being overcharged and furniture being broken. After talking with the owner he ensured me that my furniture will be well taken care of and carefully wrapped to avoid any chipping or dings. To my surprise his movers did exactly what promised they were great they took their time wrapping up all my glass and wooden furniture and carefully loaded and unloaded my things within the given time. They were awesome!!
We had a great experience with company Long Distance Van Lines. Given our very tight timeline and little notice to tell them when the move would happen we would likely give them a 6th star if that were possible. We were moving by CA. They had 3 guys and we had 3 bedrooms full of furniture. Guys were so attentive, they remembered and reproduced our room as it was before !!! It was worth it rather than buy a whole bunch of new furniture. Overall they were a great moving company and I would recommend them again.

i.e., A local favorite, or highly recommended because While moving across the country I used Long Distance Van Lines and that proved to be a great decision in the end. I read many customer feedbacks on Long Distance Van Lines and 99% of those feedbacks were good. So, I decided on Long Distance Van Lines though I could have hired such an affordable company. However, they have managed my move within the allotted time and without breaking or damaging anything. These guys actually managed a long distance move without a single error and charged me less than the quoted amount. I am really impressed and would like to recommend this company.
