I came to Dr.Kumar after going to Staten Island pain mgt for many years. Dr. Kumar sat with me and listened as I expressed all my health issues and experiences with other physicians. Dr. Kumar actually cares about me and all his patients. He takes to time to listen, gets to know you and will do whatever he needs to do to make you as comfortable and pain free (or at least to control the pain). I am so pleased that he is't a "pill pusher" and only wants to keep you on pills. He listens, cares and works with you to come to a happy satisfied balance.
I have and will continue to recommend Dr. Kumar to anyone looking for a pain management doctor.

My story is long, but I can say that before I met Dr. Kumar my life was very difficult dealing with pain and a Spinal Cord Stimulator implant gone bad. Dr. Kumar removed the Spinal Cord Stimulator and a year later implanted a much successful Spinal Cord Stimulator. Today, I enjoy a much better quality of life and it is all thanks to him.
