I have lived in many small towns, and man, this post office is the PITS. I couldn't even begin to tell you about all the trouble I've had with them in this small space. Destroyed, insured articles that I almost had to have a lawyer to get paid off on, items held and scheduled via the site for redelivery, never done, sent back to manufacturer, you can't get them on the phone on ANY of the numbers given, the clerks are rude, entitled and bored... ugh. I have to quit. I'm getting mad.

I went to pick up a package that the website says has been delivered and accepted by the post office. It is a the post office. I talk to the pick up counter. "Yes it is here but it comes in these big pallets, and I'll have to unwrap it and then search for it. Just wait until it gets delivered." Oh I'm sorry, I apologize for assuming that you would do your job. Unfortunately, these people have job security and they treat the job as such. Not my first run in with this post office. I always try to give them a chance to redeem themselves with good customer service. From now on I will do as he suggested, wait for delivery. If i need to mail something, it is UPS or FedEx. Well done USPS.

I live on a cul-de-sac in which ten homes share a mailbox unit for each home. The box rusted off its stand and fell over almost three weeks ago and we still do not have a mailbox. The phone is never answered at this location so getting information about when we will have a replacement mailbox has been difficult to obtain. One of my neighbors finally did get through to them and learned that the repair must be done through the Austin, TX post offices. What a mess.

We've lived in many small cities like Georgetown and this is BY FAR the worst post office we've had to deal with. I just wish the Post Office would go out of business and get some private professional company to handle postage.

Worst post office in Texas. They don't answer the phone, you wait in a line for them to say go to the next with no signs saying where to go. The customer service stinks. I will never use them again. I hope UPS or FEDEX take over the outdated dinosaur.

They never answer the phone. The "800" # is a joke. I moved and a package was mistakenly delivered to my old address. I've tried a dozen times to contact them with correct address as my mail forwarding had expired. NOT A CHANCE. I currently live in Oregon. The P.O. is great... and they answer the phone. Imagine!

I'm never happy at how this post office works. It's been 3 times they don't pick up my outgoing mail even though I'm careful enough to leave a note on my mailbox saying there's outgoing mail inside. My outgoing mail just sat in my mailbox for 2 days. And I already talked to the mailman who delivers in my area about this and he says he always picks up outgoing mail. Then I don't know why he doesn't pick mine up. One time I sent a package via Priority 2 day shipping and it sat in this particular post office for a day then took another day to be transferred to Austin and finally arrived after 5 business days. I don't know why I had to pay that much for a priority service and got regular shipping service. Moreover, my package was on the way for delivery to me yesterday. At least that's what it says on the usps tracking page. But it's been 2 days and I never see my package. When I tried calling them, the phone kept ringing until it hung up by itself. And when I tried calling again a few times later, it just didn't connect anymore. Now I see why many people don't like this post office. If there is a no star rating I would give this post office that rating for how they work.
