General Info
Dr. Applebaum earned his Medical Degree from the Albert Einstein College of Medicine in New York. He graduated with honors and received special distinction for his intensive research in molecular biology. Dr. Applebaum completed his internal medicine internship at the New York University Medical Center and his dermatology residency at the University of Chicago. During his post-graduate training in Chicago, Dr. Applebaum conducted extensive research in his field, particularly in the area of melanoma, and has been published in peer-reviewed journals, including Journal of the National Cancer Institute . He has presented his findings at multiple conferences of the Chicago Dermatologic Society. With extensive training and experience in laser surgery and cosmetic surgery, Dr. Applebaum specializes in facial rejuvenation and scar treatment. He joined our team at Advanced Dermatology and the Center for Laser and Cosmetic Surgery in 1999. Board certified in dermatology, Dr. Applebaum is a fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology and is a graduate member of the American Medical Association and the Society for Investigative Dermatology.

Dr. Jason applebaum was super nice and straight to the point. Asked why I was there. And got right down to business. Was confident in his diagnosis and reassuring of prognosis. I would definitely revisit the practice because of his friendly staff and himself. I only had one not so great thing to add, the waiting area was kind of dirty. The ceilings and vent system was beyond filthy. I’ve never seen a vent that dirty. I was hoping it was just dust and not mold. Everything else was pretty good. No complaints with customer service and patient care. Just clean the waiting area. Please and thank you.

Dr. Applebaum was very respectful, courteous with a friendly and at ease manner when discussing my skin condition and recommending a prescription how to alleviate it. The staff was courteous and friendly . The office was clean and neat with recommendations for patients how to keep safe during office appointments.
Dr Applebaum explained the problem with the skin on the top of my head and explained the treatment that would correct it. Very professional at all times
