Excellent shop! Having experience in the industry myself I've come to know the tricks of the trade. You will not find a more honest shop out there. Ran across these guys by chance when I broke down near flagstaff and received the best service one could ask for!

If your car breaks down in Flagstaff when you're on a road trip and you don't know who to trust, let me give you a clue: TAG Automotive! My car made a TERRIBLE noise as I was passing by Flagstaff on my way to Sedona on Father's DAy, 2012. I immediately pulled over and called my ATT roadside service. They called a wonderful young man (though I don't remember the name of his company, I'm sorry to say) who showed up in less time than I was quoted. (For the record, there was no charge for him to put my car on the truck and take us where we needed to go) His wife was with him and got on the cell to find us a room for the night. They took us to the Ramada then took my car to TAG. Next morning I got a call from them telling me there was more wrong with the car than the broken pulley and missing belts. I had known there was a tiny hole in the radiator cover, but had been told there would be no problem as long I as I checked the water level regularly. Apparently the person who told me that was WRONG, because there was an even bigger leak in the base of the water reservoir plus a couple of other places. In the end, he replaced a lot of things at a very reasonable rate and in an extremely short time (he had the items on hand!) He came to the hotel to pick us up and we were on our way again even before check-out time. Did I mention he was working on a police car when I picked up mine? Anyone who works on the cop cars MUST be good, right? It almost makes me sorry that I don't live in Flagstaff - when you find a mechanic who does excellent work and is reasonably priced, you want to keep him!

My truck had a broken fan belt on 7/5/2011. I saw some reviews and had my truck towed to TAG. They had the belt replaced and me back on the road in under an hour. The price was about what I expected. Thank you. I would highly recommend them to everyone.

Gene went out of his way to help us get around, while Tom's troubleshooting skills revealed the problem in just minutes! These guys were honest enough to simply fix a broken wire, rather than make it into a bigger job. We made it to our destination that evening without expensive hotel cancellation fees. Vacation time is precious and we were extremely impressed with TAG!!
