I have been a fan or Lorenzo's for ten years, beginning when the restaurant was located in Freehold. I find the menu selection exceptional. The presentation and the taste of the food is just marvelous

The food was delicious, I had the tuna special and it was the best tuna I've had , extremely fresh and cooked to perfection. The atmosphere was warm. And the service was great!!

Horrible service at the bar. Waited over an hour for 2 sandwhich's and almost as long to get change to pay the bill !! Bar Maid never took our money and luckly we found exact change to pay her. And these girls work on tips???? Its the first time I have never left a tip for someone. We are locals and will never go back. Our neighbors went the following weekend and they were served Brown Lobster. Chef said there was nothing wrong with it. Wow....brown lobster? Thats a first! They will also never go back. This place will be out of business very soon at the rate they are going. Real shame...what a waste.

The worst dinner I have eaten. If you want frozen calamari as an appetizer, a dish of salt as a main dish, a rude manager and Chef Lorenzo who was bothered to hear any complaints, then by all means you're in the right place. Two and a half hours in a restaurant on a wed. night with only 5 tables taken. HORRIBLE !!! Our "dish of salt" inedible entree was only taken off the bill when a "Regular" customer had the same complaint. Not good business!!

Locals have found this place - it is a matter of time before others get out and find it too - you will not be disappointed. Food is great and at different price points. There is a large mahogany bar on one side of the building, with live music Wed. thru Sat. Two TVs in the bar - go in for some bar food, a martini or brew and watch the game! The main dining room is very nice and service is always very good. Food is home-cooked Italian - and if you want something you don't see on the menu or cannot be tempted with the specials of the day, just ask. Large portions, children's menu, and an "economic budget relief package" for $17 that includes four courses! Overall, a good value for great food!

Lorenzo's food is as tasty as ever, the service is very professional and friendly, nice and classy ambiance. Good music 4 times a week.I think the biggest testimony to that is the number of returning customers. There is only one way to find out. Come and taste it yourself. I am crazy about his Salmon Frangelico, but there are many other great dishes to choose from.Prices are not higher than other restaurants in the area.Maybe even lower.

The entertainment was synonymous with a Las Vegas showcase. Sax Man Dan Rachmelowitz and Billy Brown were superb. They sang, danced, played saxophone, flute and sang the best renditions of American standards, Jazz, Motown and R & B. We were surprised to see high quality in such a small town. We would expect that type of high end performance caliber in the "Blue Note" of NYC. Dan played a great sax and flute. Billy sang got everyone up and we all danced. We will absolutely will be back again with all of our friends. I am from NYC and thought we had the best of everything there until now. We were pleasantly surprised with the wonderful steak and seafood at Lorenzo?s in Farmingdale, NJ. I had a steak with Italian pasta & vegetables, my husband had flounder, pasta & vegetables, both entrees were excellent. They had a large wine selection and big bar. The water glasses were also constantly refilled. They had a big dinning area but we ate at the spacious bar.

We had dinner there on Saturday night, the only thing I enjoyed was the saxifone player at the bar, a total disapointment i.e. food prices, not at all the Lorenzo's that I remember in freehold.

Lorenzos is a true gem. Formerly of Freehold, Lorenzo's will not disappoint. Lorenzo's has become our favorite restaurant on this side of the Monmouth County. Now, in the new location they have a full bar which is fantastic. It's nice to be able to sit and chat for an hour before dinner. The food is typical Lorenzo. The portions are generous and the quality is exceptional. I've only had a medium meal there once or twice, and they were during a chaotic holiday night. The food isn't cheap, but it isn't NYC either. All in all, I give Lorenzo's high marks.recommended because
