Dr. Samson P. Samuel is a board-certified surgeon who specializes in General Surgery, Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery with added qualifications in Hand Surgery. He joined the practice of Hand Surgery Associates of Michigan in 1996. Dr. Samuel is re-certified in American Board of Plastic Surgery with a re-certification in Hand Surgery, 2008. Dr. Samuel publishes and presents his research and clinical work in scientific publications at the regional, national and international professional conferences. He serves as Clinical Assistant Professor at Wayne State University School of Medicine, Department of Surgery. With extensive knowledge of the latest procedures and techniques, Dr. Samuel works with patients in both plastic reconstruction as well as hand and wrist procedures.

I was in extreme pain, after a few test a treatment plan and surgery, I now feel like new. This was so scary and the positive relationship with the doctor who is so down to earth made it easy. I think to great personality and knowledge of Dr. Samuel gave me motivation to work had to make the Physical Therapy work. Thank you Dr. Samuel, I feel normal again!
Great doctor, however he doesn't have the greatest bedside manner.

I've had about 10 surgeries, in 5 different facilities, and 3 states, from the drs. Visits, to actual surgery, this experience had been the best anybody would ever hope for, the hospital, the anesthesiologist, the nurses, i can not say enough good about these people!, im serious, ive had some bad experiences, some with, drs, nurses, anesthesia, hospital staff, even the aftet care, but choosing Dr. Samuel was the best choice I ever made, I took my meds like i was instructed, i had no pain

The ladies in the office were always very nice and helpful. I always felt welcomed , and they were always fast with my paperwork.

My daughter has broken her finger twice now, so we have come to the office frequently this past year. The staff is always so kind and helpful with my 10 year old daughter.
Dr. Samuel has been great with her as well. We appreciate how efficient the staff is during our visit.
Have been seeing Dr. Samuel for 2 1/2 years, with several issues. Have had 7 surgeries and have had two plates installed on my arm and wrist. He explains the surgery, is very compassionate about issues.
The staff is also excellent!
dr. samual was very kind and discussed all my options, has gentle hands when treating my wrist, hand and putting on my cast. would reccomend him to anyone.
