This restaurant was very nice and the food was excellent. I would like to thank Zac for helping my handicapped mother making it to our table for 14 upstairs. The service was impeccable with close attention paid to all 14 of us. That being said, the handicap access leaves alot to be desired. There's a little green door by the main entrance. I don't know where it goes, but to me, that would be the logical place for the entrance to be located. Wonderful restaurant. Enjoy!!!!
The Corontzes family has done an amazing job fusing Greek-American cuisine with a historic location to create the perfect menu and ambiance for a fine dining experience in the Upstate. Located in what was once a community center during the 1800's, this restaurant serves up a few of the best filet mignon preparation variations you'll ever taste in your life. Not into beef? Not to worry. The Corontzes brothers cover all ground including seafood, lamb, pork, and chicken. If you are lucky enough to catch the veal medallion special, don't pass it up! In the tradition of South Carolina, the restaurant serves up what is arguably the best stoneground grits with shrimp entree around. White table cloth service, a cozy bar for cocktails, and breath taking atmosphere all come together and help make Calhoun Corners a destination restaurant for special occasions or for those with a desire to treat themselves to the best. Enjoy!
