This restaurant was great! I have been going up to NE Georgia for many years to visit family and until now have never been impressed with any restaurants in the area. I am a chef in the Miami area so I know great food when I taste it, and The Copper Pot really surpassed my expectations. The menu is american food, brick oven pizzas and some dishes of international influence at very reasonable prices and good sized portions. But now that I have been there a few times let me tell you the inside secret... order the specials! Jeff is the chef /owner and I spoke to him about his menu, he cooks new specials each week using what?s local and what's the best quality available to him. Jeff seems to take an ordinary dish of comfort food and dress it up to a gourmet experience. I never posted a restaurant review before, but this place is amazing where least expected! My advice, say hello to Jeff or his dad Roger and ask them what you should eat tonight, you won't be disappointed.

gourmet food without that gourmet price. fun & attentive staff. just when you thought you've had the most wonderful meal...the desserts come into play. the strawberry shortcake and chocolate shortcake of course with Italian icecream on the side will rock your world. can't wait to go back!

GREAT food and service. The salads are wonderful. We love the chicken salad and the strawberry salad; the bread is wonderful and the pizzas are mouth watering. They have Italian ice cream in several flavors that is mouthwatering.
