There are lots of inflated service reviews out there. This is not one of them. Charles Brooks crew came out to our heavily wooded yard to strategically cut & top some of our huge oak trees...so that we could feel a little safer in heavy storms. They came on time and got to work like a well-oiled efficient machine. The trees hanging over our house seemed like a real challenge to me, but not to this crew. Mr. Brooks directed the cutting of huge heavy limbs high off the ground. They were cut with a surgeon's precision and gently lowered to the ground, never endangering all the obstacles in their way (roof, fountain, gazebo, gardens, decking...). While here, Charles Brooks noticed some other limbs that would endanger cars parked in the driveway. He eliminated this additional hazard, but would not accept an additional fee. All the workers were professional, polite, and meticulous; even the cleanup. Everyone involved went above and beyond expectations. John & Sue of Chesapeake
We had a tree removed stump grinding and pruning of second tree. Mr Brooks & his crew were professional, on time and exceeded expectations. This was our first experience with this company and we will continue to use them in the future. Great prices for the high quality work done.

I've had Brooks tree service do work for me twice and have been happy with the results each time. The first time, I was looking to remove a tree that was overhanging my house. Mr. Brooks discussed the option to trim the tree to promote growth that would not interfere with my house. The result was that we were able to keep the tree, and also the service was less expensive. Mr. Brooks crew does a great job and the yard was left in perfect shape. The second time I used BTS was specifically to have an ornamental tree pruned. This is a very expensive tree and we had neglected it for many years. Mr. Brooks knows trees and isn't there to just whack away at limbs. He knows what to do, when to do it, and what he doesn't do personally, he directs his crew to do. Mr. Brooks knowledge is a major part of why I've used his company.
Charles Brooks and his skilled and courteous workers have been taking care of my many large trees for over 15 years, and have always provided excellent, timely, and thorough service at an appropriate cost. His suggestions as a knowledgeable arborist and experience in tree service have been invaluable in keeping our old trees looking great and healthy and in reducing the work required to take care of them and the areas beneath them.

Brooks Tree Service did an outstanding job at my house. Mr. Brooks supervised the whole job and his crew cleaned up everything, it was like they weren't even there. I originally wanted to cut the tree down and Mr. Brooks gave me another alternative which I liked and was even cheaper than cutting the whole tree down. I would definitely without hesitation recommend Brooks Tree Service to anyone.
The service that was provided was excellent, trimmed and shaped trees - Removed everything they cut plus whatever was already laying on the ground-Great communications about arrival times and the owner was on the site every day.
Looking for reliable, expert service at a reasonable price? This is the tree service you need. We had a number of very large limbs removed from a couple oak trees close to our house. These limbs were removed in a very controlled manner and gently lowered away from our house to the ground. The men cleared away every bit of debris, including the shavings that covered our driveway and sidewalk. The crew displayed an incredible amount of teamwork to flawlessly complete the job. I have used Brooks Tree Service several times and have always been pleased with their work. They show up as scheduled with an experienced crew and proper equipment. The jobs have always been completed quickly and the area left clean.
