The National Humane Education Society is a nonprofit animal welfare organization that has providing a range of educational programs for more than 50 years. It offers humane education, rescue and relief assistance services for animals. The National Humane Education Society conducts educational presentations for people of all ages. It provides an alliance partner program, which provides fundings to group of other deserving humane organizations. The National Humane Education Society offers educational programs on topics related to basic animal needs and care, proper pet handling, kindness and responsibility. In addition, it organizes various violence prevention conferences and workshops. The National Humane Education Society is located in Charles Town, W.Va.
