The staff is very accommodating. The shuttle driver went out of their way to get us to downtown which was unexpected. We thought we would have to pay for transportation. Don't miss biking opportunities around Tony Knowles too!

We stayed there for 2 nights, on our arrival to Alaska and departure from Alaska. We arrived late at night and the hotel is very close to the airport. Breakfast was decent and the room had everything we need. For its category, this hotel offers what it claims to be offering. Hotel has two buildings. The white one, where the concierge is, has slightly more modern rooms. Each night we spent in different buildings so we got a chance to compare both.

We stayed at the Alex Hotel and found the room spacious and clean. The breakfast area was clean, tidy and had someone attending to the area all morning. The hotel recently underwent a major renovation and have gone out of their way to modernize and update their amenities. The hotel is located close to the airport and is convenient for traveling the city.

it is very close airport, 5 min driving, and very surprise there is a microwave in the room. good!

Alex Hotel was good for an overnight stay. The rooms were nice and warm and the hotel staff was friendly

Found the room clean and big. The shape of the room was a little unusual and the curtains did not fit correctly leaving light filtering in. The latch on the window was broken but no problem as I was on the sixth floor. A good room for the price.

Hotel is Great, yea they might not have a hot tube in the room, but its clean and safe for family's. close to the diamond mall and the sears mall. is about 10min from down town..and the train station.

Went on a business trip to Anchorage Alaska for several days, company set me up with a property nearby the airport. The staff was quick and attentive as they were trying to get several other guests checked in. Although the property is a bit old, the rooms were very spacious and clean, will come back on my next business trip.

We stayed at the Quality Inn Airport on our way home from a 2 week fishing trip. We had many boxes of fish and were surprised when they had a large walk in freezer to store our fish for the night. They also had a shuttle that was able to transport our entire group and the fish to the airport the next morning. The front desk and transportation staff were very friendly and were willing to go the extra mile to make us comfortable. The rooms don't have an excess of amenities but had everything you needed including a very large TV. The breakfast was average for a hotel but was suffiecient for our group. Only a few restaurants are within walking distance. I enjoyed my stay!

We had an early flight, and they made sure we got some breakfast items before the regular hours.

Recently stayed here twice and was happy with the hotel and the location. It's on Spenard, a short walk to some great inexpensive restaurants, and not far from the airport. My only complaint was regarding the hotel airport shuttle. It's inconsistent at best. On arrival the first night we were told it would be 45 minutes as he'd taken some people to the train station. We therefore took a cab. The next morning we thought we'd booked an airport shuttle for 6:30 but the driver was leaving again for a different destination and wouldn't take us to the airport. We again took a cab. The next time there (a week later) I was told the shuttle would be 6-7 minutes. After 15 minutes I called the hotel again, they said "sorry, the driver had to go to the bathroom" and in fact it took another 10 minutes before he finally arrived. We were exhausted and really wanted to get to our rooms, and would have again taken a cab had we known it would be such a long wait. They do shuttles to downtown anchorage

Not a bad place to stay, seems like this place still needs some work but things seem to be improving. Stayed here a few times and keep coming back, the rate is always reasonable which is good and they pick me up at the airport.. seems like this place has gotten new management which is a plus in this case.

Close to Ted Stevens International Airport. Attentive staff, hassle free check in and check out.Stayed for 4 days. Room was great was placed in business suite, plenty of room ,King size bed. Hotel was clean. Breakfast was a bit of a walk but worth it. Over all is better than most in the area. Would definitely use again in the future

Become a member of choice hotel(free) and get the room for about $109. Free breakfast is included. To get the breakfast you must walk through a tunnel and end on the other side of street. By the time you get there, you are hungry. Breakfast included waffles, eggs and sausage links.Very good breakfast, even though the juice machine had a sign:out of order. My wife later saw a pitcher hidden by the juice maker which did contain orange juice.The exercise room had a sign out of order for remodeling. The Summer does not seem like a good time to remodel in Alaska. The wi-fi did not work and I was told it was a provider issue, not a hotel issue. For the price, a good deal.

Our suite at Quality Inn & Suites was great. Good service and a fantastic breakfast for a freebee. Had plenty of room with a living room separate, and was clean. Would go back. Located downtown next to Mall, restaurants and convention centers for cruises.
