We went here today for lunch and quality of the food was really top-notch. It really is a confusing place because it's kind of like subway but for sushi inspired ingredients. You pick out your base such as sushi rice, white rice, brown rice, thin noodles (angel hair not rice noodles) or spring salad mix. Then you pick out your protein which is chopped raw tuna or salmon or squid or marinated tuna (in a Hawaiian poke sauce... really good). Then you pick out your toppings such as masago, grated cucumber, Wasabi, pickled ginger, avacado, corn, seaweed salad, krab salad or variety of other things. After you get done building your bowl you can pick a sauce to top it off with.... which is over the top because a lot of the ingredients already have their own distinct flavor like seaweed salad or the marinated tuna or the spicy tuna. The whole thing is very confusing because there are toppings such as Wasabi
And ginger which really are just condiment and it shouldn't go actually in your dish. They do have about six combos pre designed for you but they need to put more good combination bowls together so you can pick it out just like at a sushi place they have rolls already designed for you that you can pick from. This place was confusing and you wind with a big bowl of stuff too much sauce and just doesn't mix well.
If you go in with the mindset that you don't want to overdo it and just be very conservative.... pick a few things and don't go overboard. More is not better just because it's all available for the same price. If you go with just a few ingredients you will wind up with a really beautiful and tasty dish. The food quality is excellent.
