The Zelienople Preschool is a nonprofit, Christian based preschool administered by a board of directors comprised of parents and professional members of the community. The preschool is licensed by the state and has been in operation for over 35 years. The educational program is based on the development of three inter-related areas of development in the preschool child: physical & motor, social & emotional, and cognitive. Each is equally important to the well-being of the child. The preschool calendar is based on the Seneca Valley School District calendar with similar Thanksgiving, Christmas and Easter vacation dates. However, starting and ending dates, in-service days and Act 80 days may be different. Our experienced teacher has her teaching degrees and is state certified for Nursery School instruction. She is assisted by a qualified and experienced aide. In additional to the usual preschool calendar activities the preschool offers the following special interest services....Parent-Teacher Conferences, Hearing, Speech & Vision Screening, Christmas & Easter Programs, School Pictures, Visits From Community Professionals (dentist, fireman), Mother Goose - 3 yr old classes, Erie Zoo - 4 yr old classes, Owl Program - 4 yr old classes, Field Trips - 4 yr old classes, Year End All School Picnic.
