Mike Ankrom quoted $800 to $1000 for fixing a little slate and re-attaching a gutter that had come loose. They ended up billing us $1050 and less than a month after job completion, the gutter was hanging loose again. Mike said that the wood he was attaching the gutter to must've been rotten. Well yeah! Shouldn't you have checked that since it had broke free to begin with and you're such experts in roofing? No, he just re-attached to rotten wood and called it good. And then he wanted more money to come and fix it right. Bottom line: stay away!
