I went to the Zachary location on Saturday with excruitiating back pain from moving the kithen island at my Mom's on Wednesday before Thanksgiving. I could hardly move. They were very busy and seeing patients in the order they came...until me. They called me in the back and after taking my vitals, about 15 minutes later, the PA student came in to check out my problem, she said she was going to discuss it with the PA on duty and be right back; about 30 minutes later, and hurting so badly from sitting on the exam table, I went to the door to see if they forgot me. I had heard the PA, Joe Halpin, I think, going into other rooms, seeing other patients that had come in after me. I had been there 3 hours and really needed to go home. The assistant that had taken my vitals saw me open the door said, " I am coming to check you out", she came in and started going over the meds and when I asked, what is this, she said..like I said and repeated reading the discharge orders. Terrible visit!!
