My daughter went to pay a deposit of $100.00 for hair extensions in May. The special price that Emily Howard was having was only for a short amount of time so She used my credit card and left a $15.00 tip to pay for the deposit.(the tip was a mistake on my daughters part) She was told it was a special for extensions for $350.00. She was also told that it would be a couple of weeks for the hair to be delivered. When she followed up to find out when she could come in, she was told that the hair extensions have not came in yet and was told they went somewhere else or were lost and then she was told that the hair had a tracking number and when we tracked it, it had been delivered a few weeks back. Finally last Friday she was told that she could come get her hair extensions done today (Monday). The balance owed was $250.00. She paid with her card and was charged 20.00 extra and was told it was a fee for using the credit card. So, not only has she been given the "run around" about the hair being lost, she had to wait over 6 weeks and she was charged an additional $20.00. They way I see it is the "Hair extension" special for 350.00 should have been marketed as this: "Hair Extension Special for $385.00 , but you have to hurry and pay before the special it over and then have to wait until I am ready to honor it."---- I do not mind paying for things as long as we know exactly what we are getting into. This was a very shady deal and I will NEVER come to this salon again. I think Hair dresser Emily Howard has bad business ethics.
