Ryan A. Mlynarek, MD, is a board-certified orthopaedic surgeon. Dr. Mlynarek earned his medical degree from the University of Virginia School of Medicine. He completed his residency at Michigan Medicine and his sports medicine fellowship at the Hospital for Special Surgery in New York. Dr. Mlynarek’s clinical interests include a primary focus on cartilage preservation and restoration in the shoulder, elbow, hip and knee. His practice is dedicated to the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of sports and trauma-related orthopedic injuries. He specializes in minimally invasive arthroscopic (camera-based) and open surgery in non-arthritic joints to maximize patient mobility, performance and joint preservation.
