Acadiana Brain Injury Center offers rehabilitation services to individuals with brain injury regardless of national origin, race, color, sex, age, disability, religion and political belief. The rehabilitative services are designed to assist patients in overcoming and adapting to physical and neurological defects while maximizing their functional abilities. The participants receive therapy from a certified and licensed staff consisting of a psychologist, occupational therapist, speech therapist, physical therapist, licensed professional counselor, vocational rehabilitation specialist and case manager. The center also provides prevocational and vocational rehabilitation, professional counseling, functional activities, behavior management through individual behavior plans, social skills training and community integration.
