The mission of the Youngstown City Schools is to develop caring, lifelong learners with vision, who are well-prepared and productive citizens, by respecting individuality and utilizing all resources available. The school district is comprised of eight elementary schools, six middle schools and three high schools, as well as three specialized schools. Its programs and services include community support and public relations; educational research and accountability; entry level program; food services; libraries and media services; parent resources; technology; instruction; and professional school counselors department. Youngstown City Schools is located in Youngstown, Ohio.
