      Mahoning Youngstown Community Action Partnership is one of the leading social service agencies in the United States. A nonprofit organization, Mahoning Youngstown Community has been operational for more than 40 years. Formerly known as the Youngstown Area Community Action Council, the organization serves more than 10,000 low-income individuals and families in Youngstown, Ohio. The agency is affiliated with the Mahoning County and Youngstown Health Department, Help Me Grow, Safe Kids Coalition, Tri-County Breast Feeding Connection, St. Elizabeth Hospital, Forum Health, and Department of Job and Family Services. Mahoning Youngstown Community offers a wide variety of services, such as women, infants and children program, nutrition education, emergency services, temporary housing, crisis intervention, life skills development program, employment training, counseling and assistance services. The organization also offers home visitation solutions, transportation, childbirth education, adult literacy initiatives, youth programs, senior services, and home energy and utilities solutions.
