      General Info
      Dr. Ansevin is board-certified in both Neurology and Sleep Medicine. The Ohio Neurologic Institute operates a fully- equipped polysomnography laboratory to diagnose patients with sleep disorders including sleep apnea. There are over 88 different sleep disorders recognized and most of these are primarily neurological in origin. Besides sleep apnea which can be obstructive or central in origin, patients may have trouble sleeping due to periodic leg movements and a variety of other neurological problems from carpal tunnel syndrome to seizures. Dr. Ansevin and the ONI also operate the only video-monitored EEG laboratory between Cleveland and Pittsburgh. We can do prolonged video EEG monitoring simultaneously with polysomnography to accurately diagnose nocturnal problems. Our equipment is state-of-the-art, and the same equipment as is used in major hospitals and medical centers in Cleveland and Pittsburgh. The only difference is our physician who is uniquely qualified with multiple subspecialty board certifications including neurology, sleep medicine, neuromuscular medicine, and vascular neurology (strokes and stroke prevention).
