General Info: Located in Youngstown, N.Y., the Fort Niagara State Park features several boat launches, woodland hiking trails, swimming pools and waterslides. The park includes playgrounds, tennis courts, picnic grounds and soccer fields. Additionally, the park serves as a venue for organizing cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, water fowl hunting and sledding activities for visitors. The Fort Niagara State Park is also a place for organizing a variety of recreational programs, as well as boating, fishing and sledding activities. The park is owned and operated by the New York State Office of Parks, Recreation and Historic Preservation, which additionally maintains campgrounds, swimming beaches, golf courses, nature centers, trails and administration buildings. The office also organizes various programs and activities for individuals.
