Established in 1998, Cotton Belt Elementary School is located in York, S.C. The school creates a developmentally appropriate model of education for a diverse and multicultural student body. It provides educational programs and extracurricular activities to students in kindergarten through grade five. Cotton Belt Elementary School offers classes in English, math, science, language arts, physical education, music and art. The school s staff includes nurses, social workers, therapists, mental health counselors and media specialists. It provides various after-school and special education programs. The school organizes awards programs, birthday recognition days, parent-teacher conferences and family reading nights. Cotton Belt Elementary School is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools.
