- BurglaryPolice in Cumberland County have arrested two women who allegedly stole thousands of dollars worth of jewelry and other items from homes they had been hired to clean.Alecia Elgabry, 33, and Brianna Neal, 32, are charged with burglary, theft and other offenses.According to a criminal complaint, Elgabry and Neal took cash, jewels, knives, collectible toys and other things.Lower Allen Township police estimate at least $25,000 worth of items were stolen over the span of a year.The criminal complaint alleges that the items would be sold on Facebook Marketplace or to a pawn shop.Very few items have been recovered, police said.

- HomicideA Lancaster man was sentenced Tuesday to life in prison without parole plus 67 years for a homicide.Joshua Luciano, 22, was convicted of fatally shooting Alexander Rivera and wounding another person at the 1722 Motor Lodge in East Lampeter Township in March 2020.Witnesses testified that Luciano sold Rivera and his friends marijuana. He then returned to the motel parking lot after a dispute over the sale and opened fire at the group.
