I have been a member at the JCC for 25 years. Staff is friendly, welcoming, and knowledgeable. If I get bored with my workout routine in the fitness room, there are any number entertaining fitness classes I can substitute, from yoga to Zumba, Pilates, or cylcling. I have tried other fitness centers in the long ago past and found it hard to break into a new group. At the York JCC, instructors make me feel like a a part of things whethter I show up for just one class or become a regular.

The JCC has done a wonderful job in building a diverse community within its facility. I feel most comfortable belonging to a center that encourages membership from people of differnet ages, backgrounds, races, and ethnicities. I enjoy hearing different languages in the hallways. I love to watch the children from the early childhood programs, playing sports, swimming, or playing in the playgrounds. The building is often filled with the rich smells of children's baking projects.

The JCC has become a second home.

I heard about the York JCC through a friend of mine who has been a member for only several months. I was looking for a fitness center that also offered a swimming pool. I was ecstatic to find that the JCC not only had both a fitness center and a pool, but also offered babysitting for my child when I am working out. And not only is the staff extremely helpful and friendly but even my fellow members are so welcoming that I feel as if the York JCC has become my second home. I would recommend their facility to anyone.

I have had a great experience at the JCC. The staff are friendly, and not everyone in the gym had achieved all their fitness goals so I fit right in! They have tons of programs for children including sports classes, dance, art and music classes. Aerobic classes and water fitness classes come free with your membership!! Five Stars!
