Since 1991, The Athletic Club of York is a full-service health club catering to members of all fitness levels. The club offers various programs, such as cycling, aerobics, aquatics, pilates, yoga classes, body blast, step classes, swim classes, cardio kickboxing, abdominal classes, and senior group training. It features various amenities, which includes fitness center, resistance equipment, stationary bikes, step machines, treadmills, variable resistance, racquetball, aerobic studio, 30 minute pace room, tanning beds, stretching area, handball, wallyball, indoor pool and juice bar. The Athletic Club of York also provides services, including senior programs, child care/nursery, fitness evaluation, massage therapy, nutrition counseling, personal training, physical therapy, performance training and vending machines.

The Ultimate Cross Training class is great! I get a fantastic workout and burn a TON of calories in class! I highly recommend this class!!
The Athletic Club of York is the most family friendly gym I've been to. The owners are fantastic and they genuinely care about the members. There are people of all fitness levels and abilities at the Athletic Club of York and no one is there to judge anyone else. This is a gym where people actually go to work out and get fit - not a meat market like some area facilities. The trainers are highly skilled and helpful, and thegroup fitness classes are awesome. This gym has something for everyone.

The Athletic Club of York is a facility filled with outdated and constantly broken equipment. It seems as though they haven't updated any of the equipment in years and won't for quite some time. Their service towards their own members is even worse. I have contacted them twice, once via the phone, the other in person, to cancel my membership. Every time I was told I would receive a call back within two days, the first time 3 weeks went by without any contact until I had to call, I am currently waiting again and it's already been over two days. All in all their equipment is terrible, the price is outrageous compared to other gyms in the area and their service is horrendous. Please avoid The Athletic Club of York.
