- Family PracticeDr. Fickenscher attended Hastings College where he graduated with his Bachelor of Arts degree, majoring in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology. He then went on to receive his Doctor of Medicine from the University of Nebraska Medical Center (UNMC). From there, he was accepted into UNMC’s Advanced Rural Training Program for Family Medicine residency.
- Emergency CareFollow up on all Emergency Room visits by patients for current status, medication changes in ER, home needs for recovery, social barriers that led to ER visit, needs to avoid further ER use, and follow up with PCP or specialists as indicated.
- Colonoscopy
- ImmunizationsIn an effort to keep our patients healthy, our Coordinators regularly review charts to assure preventative testing like mammograms, colonoscopy, pap smears, blood pressure checks, and lab work are current. Staff also review immunization records and diabetic testing for proper follow up. You may receive phone calls or portal message from Coordinators to remind you of these important schedules.

- ObstetricsDr. Kohl received her biology degree from the University of Nebraska - Lincoln, minoring in chemistry and sociology. She then went onto the University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha. She was accepted into the Primary Care Program while there and did an intense sub intern year, followed by the Rural Training Track family practice program in Scottsbluff, NE, which gave her excellent experience with trauma and obstetrics.
