My niece's wedding was held here on June 21st. Everyone was helpful and hospitable. The rooms are very cozy and this old Inn overlooks the bay. There is a wonderful wrap around porch to sit and enjoy the boats and views. Coffee is available all day and there are homemade cookies available to be eaten at afternoon tea.The Dockside Restaurant to the left of the in was a wonderful place to have the reception. Everything you could want to make the event complete was proffered to the Bride and Groom.We had eaten there for a family dinner the night before and the menu offerings were great.I had the best duckling I had ever had and that includes the one at the Wayside Inn!I'm sure you would enjoy it too, although I did find the entrees a trifle pricey!D Manning

Trying to negotiate a function during the renovation of this facility has been a challenge. Management is difficult and surprisingly somewhat inflexible. I would suggest that our experience would have been more satisfying elsewhere.
I can see how this place was nice twenty years ago, but it looks like they haven't updated in as long. The food was nothing short of blah. Too bad really, it has amazing views which is obviously what they hang their hat on.
My daughter had the most beautiful wedding there. It is on the coast and overlooks a harbor on one side and pristine coastline on the other.The food is wonderful and reasonable. Staff is nice. Can be a causal or more formal, as you desire.
